What is Portraits+?

Portraits+ is a service where we provide you with a canvas print using one of our signature Depicteur made templates.

Do you take custom size orders?

Our Portraits+ templates are only available in 3 sizes:

8” x 10”, 12”x 18”, and 18” x 24”

Please note that our 8” x 10” portraits have a slightly different height-to-width ratio than our other two sizes, thus your portrait may not feature as much of the shoulders as shown on our product photos.

Is my photo good enough to use?

There are a few guidelines you should follow for uploading your photo.

For pets:
- Make sure the photo is taken in good lighting
- Try to take a photo that is straight on and at eye level
- Make sure the photo is clear and is not blurry
- Make sure no features are out of the image frame. (For example, ears!). We are not able to add in ears if they are missing from the original photo that you submit.
- Make sure the color tones of the image you send in are an accurate representation of what you want. For our Portraits+ prints, we are not able to do full color correction. Thus if the fur in the photo is not accurate to real life, then the fur in the print won’t be either
- Please submit multiple clear, well-light photos showing different angles of the face. If this is not possible, then please submit the photo with an angle that closely resembles the image you’d like painted.

For humans:
- Try to take a photo that is straight on and at eye level
- Make sure the photo is clear and is not blurry
- Please submit multiple clear, well-light photos depicting (see what we did there? 😉) different angles of the face. If this is not possible, then please submit the photo with an angle that closely resembles the image you’d like painted.

Is it okay if there's stuff in the background of my picture?

No problem! We can remove the entire background from your photo to ensure the best possible portrait. 😊
